The Sunvent SVT-024 provides continuous ventilation during the day or night with a built in Ni-MH rechargeable battery. No wiring, plugs, or noise. The housing is constructed of durable ABS plastic and the clear cover protects the solar panel while keeping water and back drafts out. The vent can be used as an intake or exhaust by swapping the two included fan blades. It is very easy to mount and requires a 4.75" diameter installation hole. Dimensions: 8.5" x 8.5" x 3.5" The Sunvent extracts 680 cubic feet of air per hour under normal working conditions. To calculate how quickly this will ventilate an area, measure the length, width, and height (in feet), and multiply these numbers to obtain cubic feet. Divide the area's total cubic feet by 680 and multiply by 60. The result is the number of minutes required to completely cycle the air in your area. EXAMPLE: An RV is 15' long, 5.5' wide, and 6' high: 15 x 5.5 x 6 = 495 Cubic Feet 495 ÷ 680 = 0.73 Hours 0.73 x 60 = 43.8 Minutes
